This contemporary Egyptian mosque was constructed in the Turkish style. The Mosque and the Coptic Christian Cathedral were both constructed and completed around the same time, between 2005 and 2010.

Church of All Nations

The Church of All Nations, also known as the Church or Basilica of the Agony, is a Roman Catholic church located on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, next to the Garden of Gethsemane. It enshrines a section of bedrock where Jesus is said to have prayed before his arrest. (Mark 14:32-42)

El Vado restoration

The El Vado sign pictured is not the original sign, but 1950's era reproduction. Due to the city's build up around the sign over the past 60 years, It took the team in charge of the restoration over 12 hours to navigate between power lines and traffic to safely place the sign it to their truck for transport. They moved it to a local warehouse so a they can restore the original neon and repaint over the sign faces without destroying the original paint work underneath.
